This looks as something I could use, but perl update requires lynx which is not available as a package neither is GraphViz...
I had no problems with OpenSolaris. And the packages are available for Solaris and Opensolaris at the mentioned three sites (opencsw et al.). Did you put /usr/sfw/bin in the PATH ?
Maybe instead of printing this complex date & time you could print how old filesystem/snapshot is, in days (or months and days). This could be very useful to find quickly some old unneeded snapshots that are not base for any clone
There are loads of things that could be added to this.
The most obvious one for me, would be to add the system hostname to the top empty bubble. Other features would be to add the size of each FS in the verbose mode, and maybe color the boxes or make them transparent depending on how much the content is compressed. Some kind of notification about which FSs are shared through NFS/SMB/iSCSI would also be cool.
