This is really bad luck. But for the good things, i recommend to you looking at the Sony Alpha Series. I have seen mostly landscape pictures in the blog, so it may fit your picture taking style.

Dein Bruder könnte mal in seiner KFZ und Hausratversicherung nach dem Deckungsumfang schauen.
Evtl. bekommt man das nach den Policenbestimmungen als Gefälligkeitshandlung oder Diebstahl aus KFZ ersetzt bzw. immerhin ein Teil. (kommt natürlich drauf an was genau abgedeckt ist und was die Klauseln ausschließen)
Such a crap! Fuckin' thiefs! I totally understand what hard hit this is. My Camera equipment summarizes even a little more, so I did an extra camera insurance, so I get all parts back in case of a rip-off.
