Sun Microsystems Deutschland will mit Umbau profitabel bleiben:

Sun werde in Deutschland seine Produktivität mit einem "Gesamtkonzept" steigern, das in den nächsten 18 Monaten umgesetzt werde, sagte Schneider. Betriebsbedingte Kündigungen seien wahrscheinlich: "Ich denke, es wird dazu kommen müssen." Sun Deutschland will mehr als sieben Prozent seiner Stellen abbauen. Von 1.650 Arbeitsplätzen sollen im laufenden Geschäftsjahr 120 wegfallen. "Wir sprechen gerade mit den Betriebsräten", sagte Schneider.

Insgesamt ist es natuerlich bitter für die 120 Mitarbeiter, ein an sich profitabeles Unternehmen verlassen zu muessen. Aber das sind wohl die heutigen Zeiten. Paradox bis in die kleinste Ecke.

beim onkel heise, wie du ihn zaertlich nennst, gibt's zahlen zu umsatz und netto-gewinn/verlust in den letzten 5 jahren. wenn sun deutschland gesund ist, wo laufen denn dann die verluste auf?
