This server had some downtimes today. I hope i found the reason. The root cause was a domain i have forgotten to configure after reconnecting it at a different registrar.

Since yesterdays evening i have a really strange burst in visits. They almost doubled. But i have no idea where this burst comes from, because i just see many referer originating from web mail services. Thus i assume, my blog was mentioned in a mailing list. Can anybody disclose the secret of this mail?

PS: I had to configure a redirection, as one of the links was an erroneous one. Having a cid in the query string of static page doesn´t show the static page. It redirects to the homepage.

Sorry, but i haven´t found time to write new articles today ... the discussion raging in the comments of this older article is just too interesting at the moment ...
