Actually ...well. At least in my language they are called with completely different names.
In latin: Apis vs. Bombus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honey_bee http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bumblebee I think, that if someone says (in english) "bee", everybody thinks about Apis. Sry@bad eng.
I was somewhat irritated by the wiki page when i looked there on my own ... thought bee is valid for both ... i think it's a bumble bee ...
