Hmm, do you think you are right here?
In Germany there are about 50M "key turns" per day (source: http://www.spiegel.de/auto/aktuell/0,1518,449816,00.html) and about 4500 fatalities (I assume as an upper limit that this is also the number of accidents with fatalities although this number will be lower). With these number I arrive at about 4.3M key turns per death which I think is a very interesting result. Just because there are so many more movements the result is in the very same ball park... Of course this is a little bit of comparing apples with oranges, pears, strawberries, but still interesting. |
