wow - that is disgusting and quite bold.
I take that as a sign that they are either getting over their heads and are way overconfident or becoming nervous. picking a fight with moglen is not something you want to avoid unless its necessary. in this scenario he just opened a front that has been all to quit for to long. now a lot of ppl WILL look into m&m's interesting game on the gpl... hey florian who's next - lessig?! p.s.: trying to imagine the frantic phonecalls being made by monty's legal team right now
In my personal opinion the actions of Widenius and Mueller may massively hurt the idea of free software and business. But i think that isn't important to them, as i wrote before: Personal interests are at work here. In my personal opinion, someone tries to get back the stuff he sold ... but for much less money ... the EC shouldn't make itself a servant to this ploy.
Wow, that's heavy stuff. To date I wasn't really interested in who this Mueller guy is - I just knew there is some personel career development amd money making involved. So I just gave google a try and found his public linkedin profile - man that's heavy stuff, too.
