Eben Moglen letter to the EC regarding Sun/Oracle

The letter of Eben Moglen to the EC is available for download at the website of the the Software Freedom Law Center. The SFLC provided the linkt to it in the press release "The Software Freedom Law Center Submits an Opinion on the Oracle/Sun Merger to the EC - Urges Regulators to Have Faith in GNU GPL". Interesting read.

IBM just published a new redbook 1/12/2009 : "MySQL to DB2 Conversion Guide"

Customers definitely do have a choice. And IBM is quite capable of providing competition to Oracle.

I don't need to tell anyone that delaying the takeover of Sun by Oracle is harming the future choice of customers a lot more than the risk MySQL customers might ever be under.
