It is a ridiculous situation - the EC has no idea what they should be concerned about. MySQL is a pervasive but small database with probably less than $100 million in revenue (that's a wild guess). Java on the other hand is a huge multi-billion dollar industry and somehow the EU misses this much more interesting aspect. How Oracle moves Java forward is much more pertinent to a huge portion of the industry.
