An aeroplane operates at -50C (and below, at 30000 feet) and at +45C (and above, e.g. in Dubai?). How deep do they freeze these bolts (they shouldn't get loose in mid-air) and how much do they expand when the temperature rises to desert levels?
Btw: When you "freeze/heat a hole" will it grow or shrink? Regards, Jörg
"i'm sure i'm waiting a few years before i will put a feet in a 787."
This was also my first thought while reading ... but imagine the end of a hard working day and the 787 is waiting for you. What to do? Would you really be so straight? In the end you could book another airline if you don't like Air France, but you can't book a specific plane type |
