correct me if I'm wrong, but when the CPUs are 50% idle- doesn't this mean that your data can't be delivered fast enough? Either from RAM or from the storage?
Yes, perhaps, i just wait until the benchmarking docs are public and then go through it. Anyway: with RAC the problem is more difficult as you have to factor communication between the RAC nodes due to the CacheFusion protocol.
