Great video
Some parts of OpenSolaris are new (e.g. IPS/Crossbow), some are old. What I would like to see OpenSolaris marketed as is taking the good from both Linux+Solaris, and calling it OpenSolaris - of course more from the Solairs side.
What Larrry didn't mention, and we all know about is, that OpenSolaris/Solaris is much more feature rich than Linux (e.g. DTrace, ZFS). Perhaps, I am just biased. |
