Do you clean your lenses every day? You take extreme care for the front elements of the lens? Forget it ... it seems, that the impact of doing so isn't really large...

Yeah, well sometimes you want to shoot a lens stopped down to F8, F16 or more due to bright conditions and/or wanting a greater depth of field... and that lens will definitely not handle such shots.
