Hudson Airport

This photo was taken by Greg Lam Pak Ng right after the splashdown of the USair in the Hudson River before help reached the crash site:
When you look at the largest image version at Flickr you will see the people climbing on the wings. I'm still stunned that there weren't any fatalities besides the A320. I think this will be a full hull loss. Don't think you want to fly again in an airplane that took a bath in Hudson river.

Speaking of baths and total loss. There was a precedent that the plane was back in service after similar bath. It might be harder to do these days given amount of electronics on board.

DC-8-62 San Francisco, California The plane landed in Pacific Ocean, 2.5 mile short of the runway in the shallow waters of San Francisco Bay. All 107 people aboard were safely evacuated off the plane. The aircraft was recovered from the San Francisco Bay 55 hours after the accident, repaired and eventually flew back home to Japan and was in service for many decades.
