I guess it's speculation before Jon blogs some prelim results ahead of FY09Q2's earnings release. Nice to see the market value Sun above its balance sheet for a change. As an investor, I'm hoping the RIF isn't costing too much and that the newer products (Niagara, OpenStorage, X64) are maintaining their growth trajectory on the charts. It was also nice to see the Q-Layer cloud acquisition in yesterday's news. With Sun's portfolio of assets (xVM, network.com, OpenSolaris, OpenOffice), it could easily own the cloud space 5 years from now.
