Hi Jörg,
do you know something about the naming logic of the Galaxy Servers? I think the first letter describes the architecture: X - x86 M - Sparc VI T - Niagara E/V - Sparc IV But the Sun Fire V20z was an x86 Server? First number describes the series. I think that's ok. Second number describes the count of sockets? True for X4240, X4450, X2100 and X2200 but wrong for 4600, 4500, 4140. And the last ones are for: 40 - AMD 50 - Intel So I hope you could dispell the darkness |
