Vacation

In the case, someone is wondering about my reduced posting frequency. I´m testing a new concept, at least a new concept for me: Vacation with reduced contact to electronic devices. Works good so far but was really hard on monday and tuesday.

Hi,

OMG, we are all gonna die! No electronic devices? You mean no email, no usenet, no blogs? You don't really spend your time with this odd things made from dead trees, do you? And what about people? Do you meet them without a wlan or even an ethernet between you and them? Strange concept. I guess the world as we know it comes to an end.

Oh, i´ve read a really fine book, visited friends and so on ... ;-) Will have a meeting with a customer today (postponed because of the funeral preparation) and return to my book tomorrow :-)

Hi,

I've to confess that I hide tons of dead trees in cardboard boxes and on my window seat. But, psssst, don't tell it somebody.

At the moment I like to read historical itineraries. But there are also poets like Goethe, Schiller, Storm etc in the portfolio. Furthermore I've a partiality for textbooks from the early days of electrical engineering and radio stuff.
