I just flew out of SFO last night. Delayed 3 hrs so plan on delays. They are everywhere in the US. My carry-on was jammed with cables, chargers, camera etc. They did look twice at the bag through x-ray - it went through. Good luck and happy traveling - gotta keep a positive attitude cause it can really suck.
just back from SFO two hours ago: yes they asked for the cables, the IPOD, the charger and other stuff. But no delay, because seemed as if the Business-guys already had the message before and behaved appropriately.
