John Dvorak is just a major annoyance

I don´t know, what Mr. Dvorak has done in the past to justifiy, that such underinformed and underthought articles like this are still published by someone. This is the same guy, who tried to told us that the iPhone battery has only a reach of 40 minutes and years before he wrote, that the computer mouse will be a gadget nobody will ever use, that Apple will switch to Windows ... and other pearls of computer journalism.

you will always find people that needs to disqualify themselfs with some weired messages, because otherwise nobody listens to them. Maybe a bad childhoot?

John Dvorak is a modern oracle at delphi. You have to interpret his "visions" of the future. In his case, the interpretation is quite easy: Add a "not"!
His analysis of the mysql deal is quite impressive. It's missing any strategic perspective, it's based on emontions and feelings and a few quite suspect ideas of how business has got to work.
Even his analysis of the picture of Johnatan Schwarz is wrong: Mao never wore open jackets and shirts. And he used passport-like pictures.
