Interesting annotation about the fuss surrounding the CFS in Linux:

I find it interesting and slightly sad, given how low level a topic this really is, how much is being written about the new CFS scheduler being introduced into Linux. The sad part is how much flamage is flying around as a result of this from people not in the slightest bit involved in the desgin and development - this sadly is the ugly side of many open source groups.

Linux development was ever made in public. So you can read the opinion of everyone who thinks he has something to say. Its not flamage this is called freedom of speech and thought.

I don´t think, that the darren thought of the development process itself. I think he talked about the people who flame with great vigor in public forum but didn´t wrote a single line of code and sometimes havn´t the least inkling about the subject. I would call them the hooligans of coding.
