Leider haben wir ja den Franzosen das Feld der Rekordbahnfahrten komplett ueberlassen. Macht aber auch Sinn, denn nach so einer Fahrt kann man erstmal die Strecke wieder instandsetzen. Nichts destrotrotz: Herzlichen Glückwunsch nach Frankreich zum neuen Rekord. Ein beeindruckendes Video ist hier zu finden. Man achte in der Mitte des Films darauf, welche Lautstärke der Zug noch auf weite Entfernung produziert.

Wenn man bedenkt, das Frankreich für diesen Werbefeldzug, nichts anderes ist es doch, mehr als 30 Millionen Euro ausgegeben hat, wird mir übel!

Man muss das im Kontext mit den vielen zur Ausschreibung ausstehenden HGV-Strecken weltweit sehen. Wenn dadurch auch nur eine auf der Kippe stehende Entscheidung zwischen TGV, ICE oder Shinkansen zugunsten des TGV entschieden wird, hat sich das für die beteiligten schon gelohnt, da dann das Geld milliardenweise fliesst.
