Oracle Standard Edition costs about the same as Microsoft SQL Server. It can only be licensed on servers, or server clusters, that have a maximum capacity of 4 processors and 8 cores, however when licensing multi-core processors you must multiple the cores in the server, or server cluster, by the multiplier and the resulting number must be less than or equal to 4.
I think itīs quite naturally, that a FAQ that was edit on 11th january doesnīt reflect licencing changes made on 16t of february.
