Linux, also der Kernel ansich, war schon immer, was Features angeht den kommerziellen Unixen hinterher. Spielt aber imho auch keine Rolle, Linux ist 'good enough' für die meisten Fälle. Mir fehlen z.B. persistente Device-Namen bei Linux, genauso wie mir die gnu-tools bei Solaris fehlen. Man kann leider nicht alles haben.
