Endlich eine Applikation für MMS

Vielleicht hat gerade die Bahn die erste Applikation gefunden, für man MMS gebrauchen kann: Fahrkartenkauf via Handy. Man bekommt dann via MMS einen Barcode geschickt, der wie jene auf den ausgedruckten Onlinetickets eingelesen werden kann. Bisher war ja MMS eher nutzlos (da teile ich die Einschaetzung mit Herrn Cloer)

Irgendwie ist das ganze aber nicht zu Ende gedacht. Warum nur bis 10 Minuten vorher? Man könnte das ja für spontanes Kaufen verwenden. In dem man diese Funktion bei der Bahn mit der Technik der Semapedia koppelt. In nahezu allen Fernzügen der Bahn sind ja Fahrgastinformationsdisplays (FIS) angebracht. Es waere also recht problemlos, dort einen 2D-Barcode darzustellen. Ich stelle mir jetzt folgenden Usecase vor: Man geht in den Zug. Richtet das Handy auf das FIS. Das System sagt einem in welchem Zug man ist und fragt bis zu welcher Station man moechte. Das System bucht dann den Reisenden ein, zur Überprüfung durch den Schaffner wird dann der Barcode verschickt. Das fände ich dann wirklich praktisch.

Also dass MMS nutzlos ist, kannst Du wirklich nicht so sagen. Wie sollten sonst die einsamen Herzen und Sexsüchtigen dieser Welt schöne Foto's und Video's auf ihr MMS fähiges Handy bekommen?

Leider wohl die einzige die derzeit wirklich Volumen (=Anzahl MMS) macht. Alles andere dümpelt meiner Erfahrung nach svor sich hin...

Wobei man auch dort "Volumen" sehr vorsichtig verwenden sollte. Viel ist das so ingesamt gesehen nicht.
