There is an interesting news in
zfs-discuss. An apple employee talked to some Sun employees for an integration of
ZFS to MacOS X.
Chris Emura, the Filesystem Development Manager within Apple's CoreOS organization is interested in porting ZFS to OS X.
Well, this would make perfectly sense. ZFS is endianneutral, thus solving the interop challenges between Power and Intel ... and its a hell of a filesystem ... big eyes,open mouth for sure. ZFS is opensourced with a nonviral licence. Snapshooting, Rollback and selfreparing indestructable ... And besides of this all: This would be really cool (found on
